Where is Carlingwood in Ottawa?
Short answer
Carlingwood is a west-end Ottawa neighbourhood roughly bounded by Richmond Road, Sherbourne Road, Carling Avenue and Woodroffe Avenue. It grew up around Carlingwood Shopping Centre, which opened in 1956.

It is in Bay Ward. McKellar Park lies across Sherbourne Road to the north-east, and Woodroffe North is across Richmond Road to the north-west. The Ottawa Neighbourhood Study counts it in its 'Laurentian' area.
