Transit & getting around
Five O-Train stations are being built across the area. Until they open, buses, the river pathway and the Queensway do the work.
The O-Train does not run through the Westboro area yet: Tunney's Pasture, just east, is the western end of Line 1. 5 stations are under construction on the Line 1 west extension: Westboro, Kichi Zìbì (formerly Dominion), Sherbourne, New Orchard, Lincoln Fields; opening is listed for 2027 and is provisional. Until then, buses run along Richmond Road, Carling Avenue, Woodroffe Avenue and Scott Street.

Since June 2022 the Transitway trench through Westboro has been closed for O-Train construction, and buses stop at the curb on Scott Street. The Line 1 west extension will add Westboro, Kichi Zìbì (formerly Dominion), Sherbourne and New Orchard stations, with Lincoln Fields as the junction where Lines 1 and 3 split. Tunney's Pasture, just east of the area, is the current western end of the line.
In March 2026 OC Transpo expected the extension to be handed over to the City in the second quarter of 2027 and to carry passengers in the third quarter. Canada Day 2026 flooding damaged part of the line, and OC Transpo has discussed opening it in stages, so treat every date here as provisional.
